Our test point diagnostic couplings with M16x2 connection ends can be connected under pressure without tools to a maximum pressure of 10 MPa (400 bar). The test couplings are designed for hydraulic systems that use mineral oils. They are resistant to corrosion and can be paired with measuring instruments like gauges.
Because we are a test point adapter manufacturer, we can adjust the production of the couplings to ensure 100% fit for your hydraulic line. Check out the chart below to see available seal types and essential specifications. You can order the items according to the information found in the chart or request more details from the FITSCH test point adapter supplier.
Benefits of test points for diagnostics
Fluid loss and hard-to-predict pressure changes can take a heavy toll on your hydraulic system. Our adapters can be installed at the most potentially problematic points of a line along with gauges to keep pressure-related and other issues at bay while safeguarding the performance of your system and the uptime of your business.
As a supplier of hydraulic test point adapters, we integrate the most substantial benefits of the couplings at the production stage. Once installed, they enable you to:
· Keep an eye on accurate pressure and adjust lines when necessary
· Identify and eliminate hydraulic system blockages that lead to pressure irregularities
· Avoid hydraulic shock that may result in equipment failure and increased health risks
· Monitor the performance of your system without downtime
Monitoring is greatly simplified with these couplings. Because you no longer have to shut down the entire system to observe pressure, your facility can stay operational without setbacks. You can plan corrective actions and bring the system to a halt once the issue is detected, not to detect it.
Working Pressure
The working pressure depends on the materials, design, working conditions, applications, and other factors. As a manufacturer of hydraulic test point adapters, we stress the importance of double-checking compliance requirements and industrial standards that your facility adheres to. This can help you order the right couplings for your lines.
For example, the ISO 15171-2 standard specifies a maximum working pressure of 63 MPa (630 bar). At a flow rate of 6 l/min, the pressure drop of the diagnostic coupling shall not exceed 20 MPa (200 bar). Couplings shall meet at least a burst pressure of 252 MPa (2 520 bar) and a cyclic endurance (impulse) pressure of 84MPa (840 bar). Tests shall be conducted in accordance with ISO 19879.
