How To Install Reusable Hydraulic Hose Fittings

1. Place screw ferrule (hose socket) in vice, screw in hose counter clockwise(Left Hand Thread) until hose bottoms. Back hose out 1/2 turn.

2. Oil inside of hose and nipple threads liberally with Hose-Oil.

3. Screw nipple(Right Hand Thread) assembly into socket using a wrench on the nipple hex until the nipple hex shoulders against the socket.

It is determined by maximum working pressure for hose size and hose end configuration whichever is lesser. 1 wire braid hose EN857 1SC max operating pressure with reusable fittings from 88 bar to 225 bar, 2 wire braid hose EN 857 2SC mas operating pressure with reusable hose fittings from 165 to 400 bar. Temperature range from -40 Degree C to +100 Degree C.
