Meet DIN 3870(LL series) DIN 2353 and ISO 8434-1(L and S series) standard
Nuts for cutting ring fittings is symbol as ISO “N”, Parker “M”, Winner”NL/NS” etc, it is also called DIN tube nut, compression nut, union nut, meet DIN 3870(LL series), DIN 2353 and ISO 8434-1 standard. The DIN tube nut are either cold formed, hot formed or machined from cold drawn material, it is based on different size for right material shapes. We also provide wire nut and customized nut for your different need.
Material choose of DIN tube nut
Nut is made of carbon steel, stainless steel and copper alloy as follows standard material specifications:
Carbon steel: 08AL for LL series, C35 or C45 for L and S series.
Stainless steel: 304/X5CrNi1810(1.4303), 316/X5CrNiMo1712(1.4401), 316L/X2CrNiMo18143(1.4405) and 316Ti/X6CrNiMoTi1712(1.4471)
Surface finish of DIN tube nut
Surface finish of Nut is White or color plated with Chrome 6 free, it can pass 72 hours without surface coating corrosion, neutral salt spray test in according with ISO 9227, coating thickness is 8 to 12 um, Fe/Zn8/Cn/T0(T2) description is Zinc coating / coating thickness 8 um/iridescent passivated / no sealing(organic or inorganic sealing), coating method is drum for small sizes, rack for big sizes.
Assembly Of Tube Nut
The nut for pushing the front and second (two)edge to cut(double bite) the designed depth into the tube, with the correct torque of wrench, do it in the instruction of fittings assembly.

Cutting ring is critical part of non-soldering compression fitting, meet DIN 3861 and ISO 8434-1 standard, It has different symbols such as ISO “CR”, Parker “D/PSR/DPR/”, Eaton Winner”RL/RS”, it is also called “ferrule and compression ring”.
Assembly Of Cutting Ring
On the assembly, the front and second (two)edge cutting(double bite) the designed depth into the tube, limited by the stop edge(collar), the force is from turning the nut.
Design of Cutting Rings
Double edge design(Form B) of cuttings ring is double bite stronger and features a “positive stop” to eliminate over-tightening.
Material types of cutting ring is C35/45, with HRC 38-45; Stainless steel is 316L with HRC 38-45.
We also offer cutting ring form A and F with soft seal.It is precision machined, heat treated in in a manner that provides the hardness, strength and toughness.
